Vehicle Speed Sensor Assemble (FWD Only)

IMPORTANT: Handle the vehicle speed sensor assembly carefully.

Inspect the vehicle speed sensor assembly (10) and the vehicle speed sensor O-ring seal (11) for the following conditions:
- Damaged connector
- Cracked housing
- Signs of rotor damage
- Cuts or nicks on the O-ring seal
Install a new O-ring seal (11) on the vehicle speed sensor assembly (10).

Install the vehicle speed sensor assembly (10) into the case extension.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the vehicle speed sensor bolt (9).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
