Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement .

  4. Remove the motor mount to motor mount bracket nuts.
    5. Fig 2: Identifying Motor Mount & Frame Nuts

  5. Remove the motor mount to frame nuts.
  6. Using a suitable jackstand, raise the engine.
  7. Remove the motor mount from the vehicle.
