Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery tray.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the battery tray bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the battery tray bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  3. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (LY7)  or Battery Replacement (L26)  or Battery Replacement (LS4) .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (L26)  or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LY7)  or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS4) .
