Installation Procedure

  1. Install the window channel retainer to the door.
  2. Install the new 4 mm (5/32 in) rivets (1) along the inside edge of the window channel retainer (2).
  3. Install the bolt (3) to the lower corner of the window channel retainer (2).
    4. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the bolt (3) to the lower corner of the window channel retainer (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .

    Install the door window weatherstrip by working it around the door frame. Ensure that the weatherstrip is fully seated into the window channel retainer.

  6. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  7. Install the rear door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  8. Install the front door frame applique. Refer to Front Door Frame Applique Replacement .
  9. Inspect the window for proper operation.
  10. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  11. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
