Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: When installing the outer belt sealing strip align the molding to the holes properly before pressing the front into place.
  1. Install the outer belt sealing strip to the door.
    1. Insert the retaining clip for the outer belt sealing strip into the front hole of the door and push down firmly to lock in place.
    2. Install the outer belt sealing strip to pinch-weld flange.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the outer belt sealing strip screw (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
  4. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Inspect the window for proper operation.
  6. Remove the masking.
