Draining Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel fill cap.
  2. Install the J 42960-2  into the fuel fill pipe in order to hold the door open.
    3. IMPORTANT: Lubricate the fuel drain hose with J 36850  or equivalent to aid in hose insertion. See Special Tools . Do not use an unapproved lubricant.
  3. Insert the J 45004  into the fuel tank until the hose reaches the bottom of the fuel tank.
  4. Use an hand or air operated pump device in order to drain as much fuel out through the fuel fill pipe as possible.
