Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: The evaporative emission (EVAP) purge valve is located on the upper intake manifold.
  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge valve purge pipe (2).
  3. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge valve electrical connector.

  5. Remove the EVAP purge valve bolt (2).
  6. Remove the EVAP purge valve (3).
