Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Fig 1: View Of Fuel Filter & Pipes

  3. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge pipe connector at the fuel filter area. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Disconnect the EVAP purge pipe (8) from the EVAP canister (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  6. Remove the EVAP purge pipe (8).
