Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Right CMP Actuator Valve Electrical Connector - Exhaust

  2. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) actuator valve electrical connector.

  3. Remove the CMP actuator valve bolt.
  4. Remove the CMP actuator valve.
  5. Inspect the CMP actuator valve seal and replace as necessary.
