Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Loosen the intake air duct clamps.
  3. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube from the air intake duct.
  4. Remove the air intake duct from the throttle body and the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
  5. Remove the air intake duct.
