Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front door to the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Front Door Hinge

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the front door top intermediate to the door hinge

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  3. Install the front lower hinge bolts to the door side.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  4. Remove the support from the front door.
  5. Install the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Conduit Replacement .
  6. Install the front door electrical harness to the door.
  7. Install the front door inflatable restraint side impact sensor. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor Replacement .
  8. Install the front door body side moldings. Refer to Body Side Molding Replacement .
  9. Install the front door lock. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement .
  10. Install the front outside door handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  11. Install the front door window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  12. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
  13. Install the front door window channel retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement .
  14. Install the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  15. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip.
  16. Install the front door frame applique. Refer to Front Door Frame Applique Replacement .
  17. Install the front door inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  18. Install the front door outside mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
  19. Install the front door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .
  20. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  21. Install the side front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  22. Install and adjust the front door. Refer to Front Side Door Adjustment .
  23. Close the rear door.
  24. Remove the masking tape from the front door and fender.
