Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Lower Air Temperature Sensor

    IMPORTANT: Rotate the lower air temperature sensor counterclockwise to disengage from the heater outlet cover.
  3. Remove the lower left air temperature sensor from the heater outlet cover.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lower left air temperature sensor.
