Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26, LY7 GE 47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26 Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LS4 GE47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LS4 Static Fill) .
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Heater Inlet Hose At Heater Pipe

  3. Use J 38185  to reposition the heater outlet hose clamp to the heater pipe.
  4. Remove the heater outlet hose (2) from the heater pipe.

  6. Use J 38185  to reposition the heater outlet hose to the heater core clamp.
  7. Remove the heater outlet hose (2) from the heater core.
