Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2008 Buick LaCrosse and 2008 Buick Allure. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the new O-ring seal. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Refrigerant Pressure Sensor

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the refrigerant pressure sensor to the liquid line.

    Tighten:  Tighten the sensor to 4.7 N.m (41 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.
  4. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.8L engine or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.6L (LY7) engine or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 5.3L (LS4) engine.
  5. Leak test the fittings of the component using J 39400-A  . See Special Tools .
