Low Fuel

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the LOW FUEL message in the message center and the LOW FUEL indicator in the IPC when the powertrain control module (PCM) determines that the fuel level is less than 8.2 percent. The IPC receives a class 2 message indicating the fuel level from the PCM.
