Engine Oil Level/Change Engine Oil

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the Engine Oil Level/Change Engine Oil indicator when the PCM/ECM determines that the engine oil life is less than 5 percent. The PCM/ECM sends a class 2 message to the IPC requesting the display of the indicator. After the oil is changed, reset the engine oil monitor.
