Preliminary Procedures Disable the supplemental inflatable (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 . Remove the instrument panel trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) .
1	Instrument Panel Trim Pad
2	Nut, Mounting Inflatable Restraint Module (Qty: 6) Tighten: 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
3	Module, Inflatable Restraint Tip: If the air bag had a DTC, and must be returned for warranty, refer to Inflator Module Handling and Scrapping .
