Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Replacement - Bank 2 (Left) Intake



CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REPLACEMENT - BANK 2 (LEFT) INTAKE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir bolts and reposition the power steering fluid reservoir in order to provide access.

IMPORTANT: Do not disconnect the power steering fluid lines/hoses from the reservoir.




3. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.




4. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
5. Remove the CMP sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the CMP sensor.
2. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the CMP sensor bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Install the CMP sensor electrical connector.
4. Install the power steering fluid reservoir.
