Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the lower pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Lower Pillar in Interior Trim.
    2. Fig 1: I/P Lower Trim Outer Filler Panel Bolt

  2. Open the instrument panel (I/P) compartment door.
  3. Remove the filler panel bolt.
  4. Starting at the top of the filler panel, pull rearward to release the top retainer.

  5. Pull the bottom of the filler panel straight out to release the final retainer.
  6. Remove the filler panel.
