Installation Procedure

  1. Position the floor console to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the floor console.
  3. Align the floor console over the transaxle shifter and position the floor console retainers to the I/P.

  5. Push the floor console forward into the retainers in the I/P until fully seated.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the horizontal bolts near the I/P.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  9. Install the bracket bolts at the rear of the transaxle shifter lever.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  10. Install the rear compartment bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  12. Install the rear compartment mat.
  13. Install the floor console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Console Front .
  14. Install the power accessory port. Refer to Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement - Floor Console in Power Outlets.
  15. Install the floor console lighter. Refer to Cigar Lighter Housing Replacement - Floor Console in Power Outlets.
  16. Reposition the transaxle shift lever to the PARK position.
  17. Release the parking brake.
