Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L26) or Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L32) in Engine Mechanical - 3.8L.
  2. Remove the generator rear brace nut (2).
  3. Remove the generator rear brace bolt (1).
  4. Remove the generator rear brace.
