Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) outer trim cover.

  2. Disconnect the antenna extension cable (2) from the antenna cable.

  3. Remove the left I/P insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  4. Disconnect the antenna extension cable from the communication interface module. The cable is on the passenger side of the module.

  5. Cut off the visible ends of the antenna extension cable.
