Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower engine mount bracket to the exhaust manifold stud and the upper engine mount strut bracket.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the lower engine mount strut bracket bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the lower engine mount bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Install the lower engine mount strut bracket nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the lower engine mount bracket nut to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
