Supercharger Installation

  1. Install the supercharger gasket.

  2. Install the supercharger.
  3. Apply threadlock GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) to the threads.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the spacers, bolts, and stud to the supercharger in the proper locations.

    Tighten:  Tighten the stud/bolts to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).

  5. Install the throttle body and gasket.
  6. Apply threadlock GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) to the threads.
  7. Install the throttle body nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the throttle body nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  8. Install the engine wiring harness heat shield.
  9. Install the engine wiring harness heat shield bolt and nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the engine wiring harness heat shield bolt and nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  10. Install the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) barometric pressure (BARO) sensor bracket.
  11. Install the MAP/BARO sensor bracket bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the MAP/BARO sensor bracket bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  12. Install the MAP and BARO sensors.
  13. Install the MAP and BARO sensor retaining clip.
  14. Install the vacuum block.
  15. Install the vacuum block bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the vacuum block bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  16. Install the boost solenoid.
  17. Install the boost solenoid bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the boost solenoid bolts to 26 N.m (19 lb ft).

  18. Install the regulator valve and harness bolt.
  19. Install the booster bypass.
  20. Install the booster bypass nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the booster bypass nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  21. Install the fuel rail.
  22. Install the fuel rail nuts and stud.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel rail nuts and stud to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  23. Install the vacuum line to the fuel rail.
  24. Install the spark plug wires.
