Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection

  1. Clean the oil pan sealing surface.
  2. Clean the oil pan. Remove all the sludge oil deposits, and sealer.
  3. Inspect the threads for the oil level sensor and the engine oil drain plug.
  4. Inspect the oil pan for dents, cracks, or distortion.
  5. Repair or replace the oil pan as necessary.
