Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installation

Tools Required

J 35354 Seal Installer. See Special Tools and Equipment .

Coat the inside diameter of the crankshaft front oil seal with lubricant GM P/N 12345616 (Canadian P/N 993182) or the equivalent.
Use J 35354 and a soft faced hammer to install the crankshaft front oil seal. See Special Tools and Equipment .
Remove J 35354 . See Special Tools and Equipment .
