Camshaft Installation

Coat the camshaft with prelube GM P/N 12345501 (Canadian P/N 992704) or the equivalent.
Install the camshaft.
Install the camshaft thrust plate.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the camshaft thrust plate bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
