Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer toFuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L36) or Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L67) in Engine Mechanical 3.8L.

  2. Disconnect the idle air control valve (IAC) electrical connector.

  3. Remove the IAC valve screws.

  4. Remove the IAC valve.

  5. Remove the IAC valve O-ring.
