Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the heater outlet hose to the heater core.
  2. Use J 38185  in order to secure the heater core hose outlet clamp.
  3. Install the heater hose to the support bracket.

  4. Connect the heater outlet hose to the pipe adapter.
  5. UseJ 38185  in order to secure the heater hose outlet clamp.
  6. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L26) or Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L32) in Engine Mechanical-3.8L.
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
