Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Remove the right rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
Relieve the park brake cable tension at the equalizer.

Disconnect the right rear park brake cable (3) from the clip (2).

Disconnect the cable button from the caliper lever.
Remove the wheel speed sensor harness clamp from the lower control arm.
Remove the right rear park brake cable from the caliper bracket.
Use the J 37043 to depress the retaining tabs (1) on the right park brake cable. See Special Tools and Equipment .

Remove the right park brake cable from the bracket.
