Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
Use J 38185 in order to reposition the hose clamp from the radiator. See Special Tools and Equipment .
Remove the radiator hose (3) from the radiator outlet (2).

Use J 38185 in order to reposition the hose clamp from the water pump housing. See Special Tools and Equipment .
Remove the radiator outlet hose from the water pump housing.
