Engine Coolant Indicators

- The HOT COOLANT indicator and driver warning illuminates when the powertrain control module (PCM) determines that the coolant temperature is greater than 128°C (262°F). The PCM sends the serial data class 2 message to display the HOT COOLANT indicator and driver warning.
- The IPC performs the displays test at the start of each ignition cycle. The HOT COOLANT INDICATOR will illuminate during this test.
