Installation Procedure

Install the J 37096 in order to gain access to the torque converter bolts and to prevent the flywheel from turning.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the flywheel to torque converter bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 63 N.m (47 lb ft).

Install the torque converter covers.
Install the torque converter cover bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in)
Lower the vehicle.
