Valve Lifter Installation

Dip the valve lifters in prelube GM P/N 12345501 (Canadian 992704) or the equivalent.
Install the valve lifters.

Install the valve lifter guides.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the valve lifter guide bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the valve lifter guide bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
