Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the frame. Refer to Frame Replacement .

  3. Remove the frame front upper insulators.
  4. Install the J 45296  , or equivalent to the front frame insulator you are removing. See Special Tools and Equipment .

  5. Using theJ 45296  , or equivalent remove the front frame insulator from the frame. See Special Tools and Equipment .
