Removal Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Tape Corners of Panel Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Apply tape to the corners of the hood and the adjacent surfaces.
  2. Remove the headlamp assemblies. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  3. Remove the fascia to fender bolt (1) and nut (2) from the fascia.

  4. Remove the push-in retainers from the top edge of the fascia using theJ 38778  .
  5. Remove the front bumper fascia to front bumper fascia upper support center bolts.
  6. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  7. Remove the fog/park/turn lamps. Refer to Fog Lamp Replacement - Front in Lighting Systems.
  8. Remove the push-in retainers from the front bumper fascia to radiator air baffle using the J 38778  .
  9. Remove the screws from the front bumper fascia to the front fender liners.
  10. Remove the front bumper fascia from the vehicle.
