Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear seat retractor in the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    IMPORTANT: Position the retractor alignment tabs.
  2. Install the rear seat retractor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 68 N.m (50 lb ft).

  3. If you are installing a side retractor, install the retractor side belt anchor bolt to the floorpan.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
  5. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Folding) in Seats.
  6. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear in Seats.
