Removal Procedure

  1. Position the seat to the full-up position.
  2. Remove the bolts that secure the front seat frame to the floor. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
  3. Rotate the seat rearward to access the heater relay (2).
  4. Use J 38778  to disengage the push-in retainer (1) from the seat pan.
  5. Disconnect the electrical harness connector (3) from the relay (2).

  6. Remove the relay from the front seat.
