Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) .
  2. Outboard bolster only. Reposition the I/P accessory wiring junction block. Refer to Junction Block Replacement - Accessory Wiring in Wiring Systems.
  3. Outboard bolster only. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers (1, 2) from the I/P passenger knee bolster.

  4. Remove the I/P passenger knee bolster bolts. Inboard shown, outboard similar.

  5. Remove the I/P passenger knee bolster.
