Installation Procedure

  1. Position the garnish molding to the windshield pillar.
    2. Fig 1: Garnish Molding

    IMPORTANT: The tether strap retains the garnish molding during airbag deployment. Make certain the tether retainers are fully inserted.
  2. If equipped, install the tether strap to the front pillar.
  3. Press the garnish molding in to fully seat the retainer clip.

  4. Press the door weatherstrip back onto the windshield pinchweld flange.
