Removal Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Apply masking tape to the door frame applique.
  2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
  3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
  4. Remove the rear door inner energy absorber pad. Refer to Energy Absorber Pad Replacement - Inner Rear .
  5. Lower the window to the full down position.
  6. Remove the stationary window (1) weatherstrip by grasping the center and pulling downward to release it from the retainer.
  7. Remove the stationary window bolt (2).

  8. Pull the stationary window away from the door.

    Some back and forth movement may be needed.

  9. Remove the stationary window from the door.
