Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door  in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
  3. Raise the window far enough in order to gain access to the bolts (1) that attach the window to the regulator.
  4. Remove the bolts (1)

  5. Raise the window to the full up position and tape in place.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the power window motor by pulling out on the tab (1).

  7. Loosen the bolt to the window regulator motor (3).
  8. Lift the motor free of the retaining slot.
  9. Remove the bolts from the door window regulator (4) in the specified sequence (1, 2, 3).

  10. Remove the window regulator and motor from the door.
  11. Remove the power window motor from the window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Motor Replacement - Rear Door .
