Removal Procedure

UP/Down or In/Out Adjustment

NOTE: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.
1. Apply masking tape to the fender and the door edges.
2. Loosen the door side hinge bolts in the specified sequence (1, 2, 3, 4). Do not remove the bolts all the way.

3. Adjust the door up or down by repositioning the front door as needed.
4. Adjust the door in or out by repositioning the front door as needed.

Fore/Aft Adjustment

1. Remove the front fender insulator to gain access to the upper and lower hinge bolts located in the hinge pillar. Refer to Fender Sound Insulator Replacement - Front in Body Front End.
NOTE: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.

   Loosen the upper body side hinge bolts (1, 2). Do not remove the bolts all the way.

3. Loosen the lower hinge bolts to the hinge pillar side.

4. Adjust the door for and aft by repositioning the door as needed.
