Diagnostic Starting Point - Hydraulic Brakes

Begin the disc brake system diagnosis by reviewing system description. Reviewing the description and operation information will help you determine the correct symptom diagnostic procedure when a malfunction exists. See DESCRIPTION & OPERATION  . Perform road test to confirm customer concerns. See ROAD TEST  . If any problem is found, diagnose system by symptom. See SYMPTOMS - HYDRAULIC BRAKES  . If no symptoms are found, perform Diagnostic System Check. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If no codes are set, check hydraulic system. See HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM  under SYSTEM TESTS.
