Park Brake Cable Equalizer: Installation

  1. Install the equalizer assembly to the front park brake cable.
  2. Connect the front brake cable to the right rear cable at the connector clip. Connect the left rear brake cable and adjustment stud assembly to the equalizer assembly by installing the adjustment stud to the equalizer nut.
  3. Adjust the park brake system. See DISC PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT  or DRUM PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT  under PARK BRAKE in ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTIONS.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
