Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine oil level sensor to the oil pan.
  2. Install the engine oil level sensor bolt.

    Tighten: 

    Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 in lbs) 

  3. Connect the engine oil level sensor electrical connector.

  4. Install the engine oil drain plug.

    Tighten: 

    Tighten the engine oil drain plug to 25 N.m (18 ft lbs)

  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Fill the crankcase with engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
