Installation Procedure

  1. Install the flywheel and the retainer.
  2. Install the engine flywheel bolts. Use the J 37096 to prevent flywheel rotation.

    Tighten: 

    Tighten the bolts to 71 N.m (52 ft lbs) 

  3. Install the automatic transaxle. Refer to TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT in AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
