Installation Procedure

  1. Coat the camshaft rear bearing hole plug with sealer. Use sealer GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent.
  2. Install the camshaft rear bearing hole plug.

  3. Ensure that the camshaft rear bearing plug is installed to specifications.

  4. Install the engine flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Replacement .
