Test H: Charge Indicator Inoperative

  1. Ensure battery is in good working condition. After ensuring battery is okay, go to next step.
  2. Observe charge indicator. Start engine. If charge indicator does not illuminate during displays test, go to next step. If charge indicator illuminates during displays test, go to DIAGNOSING INTERMITTENTS  .
  3. Replace instrument panel cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repair, go to next step.
  4. Operate system to verify repair. If system does not operate properly, go to step  2 . If system operates properly, system is okay.
