TRAC OFF Indicator

IPC illuminates TRAC OFF indicator when one of the following occurs:

• Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) inhibits Traction Control System (TCS) due to a malfunction in TCS. IPC receives a class 2 message from EBCM requesting illumination.
• Body Control Module (BCM) detects that TCS switch has been pressed (signal circuit is low). BCM sends a class 2 message to EBCM to disable TCS. IPC receives a class 2 message from EBCM requesting illumination. IPC sends a class 2 message to BCM to activate an audible warning.
